The four-piece ‘Angelic Weapons’ range debuts the Sword of St. Uriel, its final issue, and there’s a shield alongside it

The last of the four issues in Coin’s Today’s beautiful Angelic Weapons series debuts today, and is probably the most extravagant and impressive of the four. An exotic mix of blade and angel wing, all attached to an exquisitely detailed hilt, the Sword of St. Uriel joins weapons wielded by the Archangels Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, all of which you can see lower down in this article.

It’s a gorgeous design, fully detailed on both faces, and reaching quite an impressive size for its 2.5 troy ounces, sporting a length of 160 mm. No doubt we’ll see a gilded variant soon, and it’s possible there’s a sneak glimpse in one of the shield images lower down. This one is capped at 15,000 units, and should be available to order now. A fantastic end to a very attractive and unique set.

In the gallery below, you can see the previous three issues in this set, as well as an example of the gilded variants, and the display case setup. As you can see, it was carefully designed from the onset to be a defined series with an integrated display system, and you have to give kudos to the producer for that. It’s a shame those cases aren’t available for the standard version, being exclusive to the gilded ones.

Hopefully, we’ll see the concept revisited. Fans of these will probably like the new Divine Weapons range that recently debuted.

Also released today is a stackable bullion shield, part of Today’s wide range of similar items. These are quite extraordinary in being stackable, especially when you consider the shapes, and the high-relief, that they exhibit. This is the first time we’ve seen a dual release themed around the same character, and you can actually see St. Uriel on the shield, wielding the same sword.

As with most of these stackable issues, it tips the scales at two ounces, and has an antique finish. They come in a custom capsule, and the mintage is capped at 10,000 pieces.
