Hi All,

We’re going to be off for a few days, as, after a longer than expected wait, I have my second eye operation today. Hopefully, that will see things improve for me (it’s all a bit depressing, to be honest), and I can finally get on with the coin photography for our AgAuShoots, and some other things I’ve been putting off. It’s amazing how quickly things back up!

On the photography front, we were due to bring our Germania Mint coverage up-to-date last Thursday, but we received a package on Wednesday with some samples in it, so we’ll make images of those, and that GM coverage, our first priority. Thanks to the mint for those, it helps tremendously. It should be business as usual later this week, assuming their are no eye issues.

I’d also like to apologise for the small outages over the last few days. Our server issues were fixed back in January, and it’s been great ever since, but out of the blue, they came back late last week. It’s being worked on, but we think its a web-crawler issue (like Googlebot, Bingbot, etc) scanning the site too much. We have over 4000 articles on site now, and tens of thousands of images, so it’s one of those things that need to be balanced.

UPDATE: The op went well. Things are still a little blurry, but are improving at a good pace. Hopefully, we should be back tomorrow or Friday. Thanks to all for the kind words.
