Coins Today’s stackable silver bullion range grows a foot. A bear foot to be precise

South Korean producer, Coin’s Today (CTK), continues its drive to dominate the esoteric end of the bullion market with the latest in their long line of stackable silver bullion rounds. Covering a wide swathe of subjects from future tech to ancient mythology, we’re in the natural world, this time with a bear foot.

For those who don’t know what a stackable bullion coin is, it basically carries a high-relief design on the reverse face, which is present on the obverse face in negative imprint form. As such, They can lock together one on top of the other, over and over again. It sounds quite simple, but CTK have elevated it to an art form, with some quite extraordinarily complex designs.

We have a bear foot this time, in all its intricate glory, right down to toes as hairy as your great-grandpas. There’s copious texture detail on the pads of the foot, and it’s all reproduced perfectly on the imprint side. We’re constantly amazed at how they manage to make these designs stackable, but as you can see from the image below, it doesn’t seem to be a problem for them.

We’re at the ever popular two-ounce weight for this one, which allows for a good size at 48 x 60 mm, while making the high relief possible. The finish, like most of these releases, is antiqued, and the mintage of this undenominated piece is unlimited. It should be available to order next week. We say this every time, and mean it – it’s another fine release in what is the most innovative bullion range around.
