AUSTRALIAN SWAN PROOF GOLD & SILVER (2021 Perth Mint / APMEX)

AUSTRALIAN SWAN PROOF GOLD & SILVER (2021 Perth Mint / APMEX)

Just two short months ago, the Perth Mint debuted the fifth in its Australian Swan bullion coin series. Always a popular series, and one that has continued where others have fallen by the wayside, the range comes in the usual choice of gold or silver, and also in finishes. Now available are the proof versions.

Also on offer in gold and silver forms, both an ounce in weight, these show off the Natasha Muhl design at its best and, like previous issues, remains a pretty coin. There’s a ‘P5’ privy mark to commemorate this being the fifth release in the series. Both versions come attractively packaged and mintages are capped at 2,500 silver, and just 188 gold.  At the time of writing, APMEX have the silver proof is just $65 USD, which seems a great price.
