The popular culture invasion of the bullion market continues apace with the launch of the third of the New Zealand Mint’s DC Comics rsnge. After Batman and Wonder Woman, we come to that most iconic of superheroes, Superman. It’s actually a really good design, drawing heavily from the modern comic era rather than the movie world and it’s all the better for it.

The third release this year, it follows the same pattern. There are one-ounce 0.999 silver and 0.9999 gold vesrions, both supplied encapsulated. The silver tops out at 15,000 pieces and the gold a tiny 150, both very tight given the high profile subject matter.
