Blackbeard’s Queen Anne’s Revenge bullion coin is back in 5oz silver form for a run of 500 coins

Following on from the debut of the first coin in a new limited series called Black Flag in 1oz gold and 1oz silver forms, the Perth Mint has now added a 500 mintage silver variant of five ounces in weight to the family. Carrying the same design, although with the better definition you would expect of this size, it remains an attractive coin.

Filled with neat artistic touches, we reckon this is a series worth watching for its subject matter alone. Current prices of this APMEXclusive are a touch under $250 USD, although as with all bullion coins, this remains dependent on the spot price and the popularity.  Available to order now.

REVERSE: Features the Queen Anne’s Revenge, sailing through a rough sea and proudly displaying the flag of Blackbeard. An ominous skull design can be seen in the background of clouds. The design also features the words “QUEEN ANNE’S REVENGE”, “BLACK FLAG: BLACKBEARD”, the weight, fineness, and the Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.

OBVERSE: Features the Ian Rank-Broadley likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, the coin’s weight and fineness, and the 2019 year-date.
