Next in the wave of new entrants in Allcollect’s Predators bullion coin series is Acinonyx Jubatus, the Cheetah. Using the same mixed finish of an incused footprint that is partly reverse-proof finished, a matte finish foreground, including the animal subject, and a mirror proof style background field,  they remain quite unique.

This one is the sixth release overall and the third big cat. Add in the Wolf coin that introduced the series, and we end up with a lot of similar looking designs. Hopefully, the rest of the series will show a bit more variety, (the shark coin is a nice one, for example). That isn’t to say this is a bad design. Far from it. In hand these are attractive pieces.
