PAMP has done a fine job with their Fender guitar licence, featuring a brilliant range of guitar-shaped coins in various historical styles and colours, and a range of guitar-picks, which are actually usable. To that, we can add gold bars, specifically this relatively affordable one-gram release that marks the 80th anniversary of the company.

Packaged in a nicely themed blistercard, the bar depicts a guitar and the Fender logo on the front, with a mix of guitars and musical notes in silhouette form on the back. The composition and serial number are also inscribed here, with the COA printed on the back of the blister.

It’s a one-gram piece, and with the recent softening in gold’s price, it shouldn’t be prohibitively expensive, as PAMP seem quite competitive, even with licensed items like this. A nice addition to the franchise, and a release that fits well into the current market popularity of sub-5g bars.
