Tuvalu Marvel silver bullion coin series showcases the foul-mouthed merc himself, Deadpool

A universe of characters as large as that created by Marvel Comics means it dead simple to pick out a good selection to appear on a bullion coin series. That’s fortunate for LPM and they’ve taken full advantage by picking out some of the most popular of them to appear in silver. After Spiderman, Thor, Black Panther, and Iron Man, the series features one of the best characters of all – Deadpool.

As with previous issues, the inspiration for the design is firmly based on the comics and not the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) that for the last decade has been breaking box-office records. Thus, the Deadpool pictured here isn’t the Ryan Reynolds one, but an altogether more imposing version. Clean and to the point, it’s a good interpretation and carries on the style of the series.

Distributed by LPM Group, it’s a one-ounce, 0.9999 fineness silver coin with a brilliant uncirculated finish. The coin sells individually, in rolls of 20, or in boxes of 100 or 300, with a mintage capped at 50,000. Available to order now, they’re priced a little above the big mintage coins (understandable given the Marvel licence), but not excessively so. Who’s next then?
