Mint XXI’s Great Greek Mythology series enters its final year with the first of three trios of high-relief silver coins

Mint XXI’s terrific ‘Great Greek Mythology’ series today sees the debut of the tenth tranche of three coins, on its way to make a 36-coin set over four years. There’s one of each size in this release, as unusually, the set consists of 12 one-ounce coins, 16 two-ounce coins, and 8 three-ounce coins, to be issued in three tranches of three per year.

Tranche 10 includes a 3 oz Hestia, an impressive 2 oz Heracles, and an awesome 1 oz Chimera design, proof indeed that the series can keep up the same high quality irrespective of the price point. All have that signature antique finish, with a particular element picked out with gilding, and all come boxed with a Certificate of Authenticity.
