Following their Spider-man vs Green Goblin, and Iron Man vs Ultron one-ounce silver bullion coins, MTB-PAMP are adding a third issue to their officially licensed Marvel Versus range today. These coins pit a hero and their nemesis against each other, both in bust form, split by a lightning bolt.

This third coin features Captain America, and one of the better villains, certainly in the film universe, Thanos, the Mad Titan. No surprises with this one, as it follows the design ethos set out by the first two coins to the letter. I think they’re a decent buy for the Marvel, or even general comic book fan, even though they’re not the most adventurous of designs.

The coins are issued for Niue, and as has been increasingly the case of late, the Public Seal of Niue sits on the obverse, rather than the effigy of King Charles III, which was more commonly the case when Elizabeth was the monarch. There’s just the one-ounce silver format, but the 10,000 mintage is a good size. They can be bought in the usual tubes and monster boxes, but dealers will happily sell you a smaller number of encapsulated coins, of course. Available to order from today.
