The 15th bullion release in the New Zealand Mints Disney range launches today, and it’s the third in the Lion King sub-series. Reproducing scenes from the movie rather than just showcasing different characters, it’s something a little different from the rest of the range and all the better for it. This one has a scene of Simba, Pumbaa and Timon walking across a fallen log with the full moon behind. It looks decent enough and fans of the movie will surely love it.

Yet again, the usual one-ounce pair of 0.999 silver and 0.9999 gold make up the formats on offer, the former with a 25,000 mintage and the latter topping out at just 250 units.
