It was only a couple of weeks ago that we looked at the new Beavis and Butt-head coins from Australian producer, The Coin Company, and obviously, we loved them. Issued in celebration of the hit animations 30th anniversary, they hit the target perfectly, in our view. We made a reference to the best character in it, Beavis as Cornholio, and, lo and behold, just two weeks later we’re looking at a Cornholio coin.

It’s business as usual, with Cornholio following the same format and style and the debut pair, and we’re onboard with that. At 80 mm in height, the one-ounce of silver is put to good use, and the simple colour reproduces the original animated character perfectly. The same neat presentation is employed, and it has the same mintage of 1,000 pieces. Not a coin for everyone, of course, but for the memorabilia market, whether numismatic or not, it’s a perfectly (Mike) judged collectible.
