It’s fair to say that Donald J. Trump has appeared on more coins and medals than just about any US President, which given his talents for self-promotion, his cult of personality, and his obvious love for shiny metals, shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. Some of the releases have been very unusual, to put it mildly, and one of the oddest of them all is Singaporean producer, Spectres, who have already issued a bulletproof vest, a pill bottle, and a couple of silver baseball caps as part of their MAGA collection.

We haven’t covered them before, preferring to stay out of the toxic arena of politics, but it’s hard to ignore something as straight-up mad as this medallion. Called the Trump Punisher, it reimagines the iconic skull symbol from Marvel Comic’s popular The Punisher, and tops it with the most famous hair on the planet right now – Trump’s comb-over – suitably gilded. With gun barrels for teeth, and a mean expression, it depicts Trump in a way we’d imagine he’d like to be seen.

The back face is filled with American iconography, including crossed revolvers, the Presidential Seal, the US flag, and the numbers 45 and 47, which are Trump’s term numbers. Those numbers are also combined to make the mintage of 4,547. It’s certainly packed in there, but combines into a coherent whole.
