Coins Today are back with another new pair of silver items, and as you’d expect from this South Korean producer, they’re both a long way from being standard rounds. One is a novelty item, with a military leaning, while the other is the latest in their comprehensive line-up of stackable silver bullion.

First out of the gate is Dog-tags, a one-ounce silver piece inspired by military identity tags, complete with a 12 cm sterling silver (0.925) chain. This depicts a tank on one side, packed with details, like reactive armour. There’s a smattering of background terrain, but essentially, the tank fills the space inside the raised rim. The antique finishing works well here.

The back face has a raised inscription, which sits over a pair of vehicle tracks. The hole through the piece is used to hold the chain, which you can see in the photograph lower down. A neat piece, it should have appeal to the military collectible market for sure, especially as the mintage is capped at just 1,500 pieces, which is low for this producer.
