These are strikingly similar to the Niue-issued New Zealand Mint bullion series. There’s silver and gold versions, both an ounce in weight, with the former also enjoying a coloured variant, which comes in one of those NGC-like slabs that APMEX calls TEP. They aren’t graded, however. The gold comes in a tin with a COA.

We really like this antique-finished, high-relief rectangular coin, featuring the Robert Pattinson headlined film, The Batman. The latest incarnation of the character in the film world, it was a surprisingly solid movie, and the coin does a terrific job of portraying the character, with plenty of high-relief, an a nice finish. There’s more to come.

Nice, inventive designs, especially Batman, this series doesn’t seem to have a regular release schedule, and the size of them makes them relatively unaffordable for the casual collector. We do like them, however.

A set of coloured half-ounce silver coins depicting characters from the iconic Justice League. Nine of them are heroes, and three are villains.

The look eschews the flashy movies and television incarnations, instead choosing, thankfully, the classic look from the comics. Drawn in that iconic, sweeping style, making full dramatic use of the cape, it’s a fine effort, managing to remain both distinctly Batman, and distinctly Mint XXI at the same time. A rare dabble into genre themes for this talented mint, and one they’ve not dived into since.

Just a single release in this series, it’s similar in concept to the NZ Mint series, but it looks to be a far more detailed and ambitious interpretation.
