Perth Mint finish off their fourth run of popular ancient mythology coins with the Norse goddess Hel

As well as Ghostbusters, the Perth Mint also wraps up its very popular Norse Goddesses series with the final coin in the trilogy depicting the Goddess Hel. This is the twelfth coin to be released since the mint kicked off the whole ancient mythology genre when it debuted Zeus back in 2014. Released three coins per year since, each with a different sub-theme, we fully expect there to be a new series next year. Our suggestion would be to do something a bit different, so how about Japanese demons or Babylonian deities for a change?

Struck in two ounces of 0.9999 silver, we like these high-relief, rimless coins as they’re quite distinctive, beautifully done and superbly packaged. They sell for $199.00 AUD and have a mintage of 2,000 units. We’ve added this coin to our ongoing Coin Series Profile of this range and you can read more about Hel and see the other coins that make up the four sub-series over there. Available now.
