A ginger in the Big Apple rounds out Pik Coin’s pretty ‘Cats in the City’ trilogy of 100-gram cast silver bars

Back in July, we covered the first of PiK Coin’s new three-piece series of 100 gram cast bars, called ‘Cats in the City’. That one depicted a coloured image of a British Shorthair cat walking confidently in a London street. The range is similar to the bars released as part of the Germania Mint’s own cast bar programme, but instead of two-ounces, these bars tip the scales at 3.2 ounces.

For some reason, we never received notice of the second release, but we’ve just had notice of the third, so here we are. The second bar depicts a Siamese cat striding equally confidently (do cats walk any other way? Probably not…) along a street in Bangkok. The latest, has an Orange American Shorthair, walking (you get the point…) on a New York Street.

A simple series, as all these cast coloured bars are, there’s a nice collector’s box for them, which also holds the three themed Certificates of Authenticity. It looks to be an attractive range, in a popular format, and featuring cats, a perennial favourite subject. All are available to order now.
