The 2025 EC8 bullion range debuted last week, and Scottsdale Mint have ramped up the release rate with a second pair
We covered the launch of the 2025 Eastern Caribbean 8 bullion range just last week, and it seems Scottsdale Mint are wasting no time working their way through last year’s delayed programme. That launch covered two of the eight countries, and today’s new issues feature another two, so we’re already halfway through it. We covered all the detail of the program, including the packaging and options, in that article, so we won’t go through it all again.
This pair includes Grenada, whose neat diver image signal a return to a common theme for this country. The swirl behind them, and the flowing hair all do a good job at imparting movement. The coloured bar has a nice dolphin image, which doesn’t really scream ‘Grenada’ at you, but is nice enough. St. Vincent and the Grenadines also returns to an old theme for the country, the amazing humpback whale, and the breaching animal is a classic depiction. The coloured bar has a terrific image of swirling sharks, which is also more generalised for the region than the nation specifically.
We’ve just split our comprehensive Bullion Profile into two pieces due to the sheer size of it (well over 200 coins!), with the bullion issues in one of them, and the coloured coins in a separate Coin Series Profile, so check them out for a look at the designs that Scottsdale Mint have released since 2018. There are some real crackers in there. As for this pair, they should be available to order today.
