CIT@WMF: A claustrophobics worst nightmare is realised on a cool new silver coin called Trapped

REVERSEBOX

As we’re constantly saying, we love new concepts here and CIT Coin Invest push out new and interesting ones on a regular basis, more so than any other producer. What we have here is, on the surface, a simple one-ounce silver coin that eschews any form of  insert or gimmickry. It’s all about the design, and Trapped has it in spades.

Nobody likes being smothered or confined, it just isn’t a natural state for a person, so tapping into that fear with this intense design is a great idea. A face screaming to get out from under taut fabric is disturbing enough when done with the level of detail that CIT’s smartminting makes possible. It’s all aided by a minimalistic look, with just a narrow rim that holds tiny inscriptions.

A very cool addition to this Liechtenstein-based coin producers portfolio, just 999 of them will be minted and they are scheduled to ship in early May. A neat custom tin is provided to hold the coin and its certificate of authenticity. Dealers should have it up for pre-order in the next few days.
