It’s time for the eagerly anticipated Summer Launch from CIT, and yet again, they haven’t disappointed. As always, there’s a mix of additions to existing series, one-offs, and potential new series debuts (CIT sensibly see how popular something is before committing to a larger series).

The big release this time is a one-off, and is released to celebrate Liechtenstein’s use of the Swiss Franc for a century. Not the most fascinating of subjects, some of you are no doubt thinking, but when the coin is as brilliant as this one, who cares? Done in the style of CIT’s quite sublime ‘Topography’ series, it depicts the Rhine Valley border region between the two countries. We’ll definitely be having a better look at that shortly, along with a couple of others.

There are additions to Big City Lights, Tiffany Art Metropolis, Hunters by Night, Steampunk, and Silver Burst, as well as a super cool Iron Maiden ‘Eddie’ compilation coin. AgAuNEWS favourite ‘Evolution of Life’ gets a new addition, and there are striking Cowboy Hat, Spinning Coin, and Bucket List debuts as well. It’s a very eclectic collection, all exhibiting the highest levels of detail and relief, something CIT are well known for. As I said, we’ll cover many of these in more detail shortly, but in the meantime, we’ve put together this compilation of most of the release videos, as CIT have not put them on YouTube as they usually do.
