Chaos at the farm ensues with Pop Coins latest AI-generated range of five humorous animal silver coins
Pop Coins humorous take on anthropomorphic pets continues in 2026 with the debut of a new five-coin range called ‘Chaos at the Farm’. The original 2025 range of ten coins was called AI.Nimals Cats and Dogs, and the producer made no secret of their use of this technology in the design of them. They were original, fun designs with very limited mintages, and they seem to have been very popular.
The 2026 series is more tightly themed, and based around an animal farm that has pretty much nothing in common with the George Orwell classic. Each depicts a fun scene of animal hijinks, vibrantly coloured, and depicted within a border filled with small animal silhouettes. It’s hard to look at these and not smile. The obverse continues the humour with a terrific border design.
Each coin is attractively boxed in themed packaging, and has a small mintage of just 99 pieces. They’re probably not for the hardcore collector, but as a gift, they seem right on the money, and personally, I’m pleased that coins like this exist. Not everything has to be serious! Available to order now.
Also joining the Pop Coins range recently have been a series of six new Dia de los Muertes coins, now issued for Gibraltar. These are very pretty designs, and unlike the others, are struck in 38.61 mm 0.9999 silver planchets.
Joining them are five new ‘We Are Not Alone’ alien/UFO coins, which continue with the same format as the 2025 coins. The Prehistoric Cave Art coin is particularly interesting. These eleven new issues have been added to our comprehensive guide to Pop Coins many micro-mintage ranges, and can be seen here.
