ANA Show limited special Somali Elephant coin is an early look at the design for 2019

It’s ANA show time again and in what is becoming a regular event, Emporium Hamburg are issuing a limited run of Somali Elephant coins with this years date and next years design. It looks a good one, although it’s getting harder to tell the various years apart after so many issues, and don’t forget that the ANA privy mark will be gone on the 2019 issue. Two variants are on offer. Both weigh a troy ounce with the silver coin having a mintage of 1,000 pieces and the gold, just 100. Both are boxed with a certificate of authenticity and have an uncirculated finish. They’re already available to buy from several dealers.

OBVERSE: Displays the Somalian Coat of Arms and the date along with the face value of 100 shillings.
