Christmas is coming, and Manfra, Tordella & Brookes, a part of the Swiss MKS-PAMP group, are releasing the 13th issue in their unusual PEZ silver bullion bar series. The world-famous hard candy has long inspired a collector market, with plastic dispensers coming in hundreds of different designs since they first appeared in 1949. MTB-PAMP have cleverly tapped into that with this range, where six silver bars, which are exactly the same format as the original candy, are presented with a custom dispenser.

The range has a history of holiday celebrations, and this one is themed around the upcoming Christmas holidays. The Nutcracker is a holiday staple at this time of year, based on a German story by E.T.A. Hoffman, called ‘The Nutcracker and the Mouse King’, and they’re believed to protect the house from evil spirits. The mintages vary on these, but this one is capped at 2,500 pieces.
