Manfra, Tordella & Brookes, a part of the Swiss MKS-PAMP group, are continuing their unusual PEZ program with the release of the 12th set since it debuted in 2019. The world-famous hard candy has long inspired a collector market, with plastic dispensers coming in hundreds of different designs since they first appeared in 1949. MTB-PAMP have cleverly tapped into that with this range, where six silver bars, which are exactly the same format as the original candy, are presented with a custom dispenser.

This one is for Halloween, and the bright orange dispenser is topped by a cartoonish white ghost. Each release has a custom privy mark on each bar, and that’s also the case here, with a ghost inscribed on the top. The six bars in the set weigh in at 30 grams, such just over a gram shy of a troy ounce.

The set is brightly packaged, and just 2,000 sets will be produced. That’s the lowest number with seen for this series, surprising given the last set (Polar Bear) sold out 3,500 units. I’d expect this one to go quickly, as they all seem to sell out at the mint. A decent issue, but I’d like to see the themes expanded a little. MTB-PAMP also has the licence for Call of Duty, for example, and I’d imagine a PEZ set for that would be a big hit.
