The biggest event in the Numismatic calendar is without question the World Money Fair, held in Berlin. This year it will take place from the 29th to the 31st of January, and many of the big names will be showing off new issues. It’s also the opportunity to pick up historical coins and bullion from dealers in attendance, and generally, a good time is had by all.

One of the producers that always generates plenty of interest is Numiscollect, a Dutch-based company whose innovative range has won many plaudits, and legions of buyers. We’ve covered many of their collections in our Coin Series Profiles, and the addition of a new sub-brand called Pop Coins, will see all that continue.

We’ve been given a teaser image for what will be revealed next week, which you can see above. We can’t reveal details at present, but the range of themes is wide, and encompasses aliens, culture, myths, art, and a particularly impressive bit of marine life.
