Released in September 2026, by Germania Mint, the Pharaoh Hound is the third in a series issued for Malta, and one of the few the mint puts out that doesn’t have a bullion variant. Those duties are performed by the pretty Golden Eagle bullion coin range, leaving this range to do full numismatic duty.

There are two variants, headlined by an impressive two-ounce coin boasting high levels of relief on the reverse face. This one employs gilding and ruthenium plating for enhancement, as well as an increased amount of colouring over the Bee and Ox coins. A very attractive coin in hand.
