Sixty years old, DC Comics iconic Justice League is getting a new silver coin series in celebration, starting off with Wonder Woman. Enjoying a new lease of life after a hit movie, with another promising one on the way, this is a good choice to start off the series.

Nothing unusual about these. A simple one ounce silver coin, struck to a proof finish and with selective colour, this won’t win any awards for originality, but is well aimed at the target audience who seem to love this format.

A nice enough design showing Diana in early comic book form, it joins this mints healthy selection of DC themed silver foils. No doubt we’ll be seeing the rest of the team as the year progresses – Batman, Superman et al.
