The Archangel Michael silver bullion stacker shield adds an imposing kilo offering
Coins Today have made some truly impressive strides with their stackable silver bullion range. We’ve already seen some terrific issues, many as part of a loose range of shield-inspired designs, like the Korean Doggaebi, the Shield of Achilles, and the St. Michael, as well as some unique offerings, like the Persona Mask. Most are available in a small (usually two ounces), and a large format (a kilogram). To date, St. Michael has only been available as a two-ounce piece, but now they’ve added its bigger sibling.
You have to admire how something so detailed and hefty can be struck with enough precision to allow them to lock together. The negative impression on the obverse looks good in its own right. However, while the two-ounce version with its unlimited mintage is definitely one for the stacker, the size and limited availability (333 mintage) of the kilo means it’s more of a collector’s item for the lucky few. Whatever the case, a unique piece of bullion. Available shortly.
