Scottsdale wraps up its 2020 run of Biblical coins with the launch of the final two coins. 2021 coins delayed.

We’ve had several enquiries about Scottsdale Mint’s epic and long running Biblical Series of sixty coins, which for the first time did not get all six annual coins released last year. Scottsdale, and many other mints, have had an exceptionally difficult time with Coroney, and they’ve prioritised the production of bullion coins because of market demand,

Nevertheless, the series is continuing on and the mint has now finally released the final two 2020 coins. For those unaware, this is a sixty coin series (6 per year for 10 years), and the two latest releases are the 35th and 36th to come out since the debut in 2015. The coins depict the Destruction of Leviathan, and Christ in the Synagogue, both firmly based on the original woodcut artwork produced by Gustave Dore.

You can read a ton more about this series in our full Coin Series Profile to the range and we’ve already added these two to the guide to bring it up to date. Available shortly, we’ll update you when we get news of the 2021 issues.
