The New Zealand Mint has posted a teaser banner for the next in its epic Disney licensed coin series and it looks like there’s to be a return to the most popular of them, the Vintage Disney line. Two vintage coins were released last year, the first commemorating the iconic Mickey Mouse movie, Steamboat Willie, and the second celebrating the 80th birthday of Donald Duck.

No news on the coin specifications yet, but both previous releases were initially available in 1 oz silver and in ¼ oz gold. Steamboat Willie followed up with superb 1kg versions in silver and gold, but it’s unlikely the Daisy, or even the Donald coins will ever hit those sizes. When they’re coming is also unconfirmed, but expect them in the next 2-6 weeks if the New Zealand Mint is teasing them now. Below are the Donald Duck coins for reference and it’s highly likely the Daisy coins will follow the same style. More when we have it.
