Darth Vader’s sidekicks join their boss in the NZ Mints silver miniature collection

Following a superb miniature realisation of one of the movie worlds greatest villains, Darth Vader, his iconic white-clad Stormtroopers are the next to join the New Zealand Mints range of silver statuettes. Like Vader, this looks to be a superb piece of sculpture by regular artist, Alejandro Pereira Ezcurra, who has shown an adeptness with the medium that is second to none.

Cast using 135 grams of sterling 0.925 silver, just 1,000 of them will be made. These are very well presented and they have a serial number inscribed on the base, which is removable from the figure. Plenty of detail for something just 83 mm in height, we’ve yet to be disappointed by a single one of these issues across the Star Trek, DC or even the Disney ranges.
