The first seasonal release tranche of 2024, the Winter Launch, is timed to coincide with the industry’s biggest event, the World Money Fair, held in Berlin for three days from tomorrow. It’s usually CIT’s flagship release, and with the debut of their latest incarnation of its superb smartminting technology, that appears to remain the case.

Smartminting has seen increased levels of high-relief that fully maintain detail levels, and with the release of Iron Knight, and smartminting 4.0, it’s reached extraordinary levels. We’ll deep dive on this one early next week (we’re currently in Berlin), but the first video below gives you a great look at what CIT have achieved.

The rest are also top-level designs. Out of the Dark, and the astronaut coins look very cool, and the shark phobia issue is striking. There are additions to many existing series, (love the Iron Maiden!!), but again, we’ll have a better look next week. In the meantime, enjoy the videos CIT have provided.
