The pose is first class, showing him with a Batarang in his hand, and with one foot on a gargoyle, like those that adorn the gothic rooflines of some of New York’s skyscrapers. It’s great to see so much detail on the gargoyle, much more than you would expect given it isn’t the main focus. Like, I think, all the NZM miniatures, it’s been sculpted by the obviously talented Alejandro Pereira Ezcurra, who has shown an ability to showcase a wide variety of subjects, from Classic Disney, to Star Wars. We have to say, this is an outstanding sculpt, and having seen quite a few of the mints previous efforts, can safely say this will be impeccably realised.
The sculpt is cast in 150 grams of 0.999 silver, or just shy of 5 oz, and it stands around 80 mm in height. The base is removable and has the serial number on the base. Packaging is neat, although not something you can use to display the miniature, and you will want to display at, we bet. There will be a maximum of 1,000 casts produced and if you’re a Batman collector, this is going to make an outstanding centrepiece. Available from today with a recommended price of $720.00 USD.
