The Ancient Greek tale of Leda and the Swan is brought to life on Powercoins latest silver coin

With fine art being a perennial favourite in the numismatic world it goes without saying that there’s plenty of choicein the market. There’s always room for something special, however, and that certainly applies to Powercoin’s outstanding ‘Eternal Scupltures’ series. Leda and the Swan is the fourth coin to be released to date – they appear just once per year.

Struck in two ounces of silver, these ultra-high-relief coins reproduce famous sculptures and employ CIT aand BH Mayers proprietary SmartMinting technology to do so with impressive levels of detail and quality. Unusually, this is used on both faces of the coin to give the impression that the sculpture is actually embedded through it. The use of black proof finishes and white textured colour to enhance contrast works perfectly.
