Star Wars The Last Jedi, the years most eagerly awaited movie, gets 3 new silver coins featuring key characters

We all know by now that Star Wars is a movie phenomenon and likewise we’re all pretty sure that despite the multiple superhero movies appearing in cinemas this year, that Star Wars Episode IX: The Last Jedi, is going to be the biggest hit of 2017. Due to premiere in December, this is a movie eagerly awaited by fans around the world and a poignant one, as the last film in which the legendary Carrie Fisher starred before her passing earlier this year.

The Last Jedi tells the continuing story of the Star Wars Universe after the events of the 1983 hit, Return of the Jedi. Along with a raft of original favourites like Chewbacca and Luke Skywalker featured here, a whole new cast of characters were introduced, some of which, like BB8 and Kylo Ren having appeared on coins last year as part of the Force Awakens series.
