With the launch yesterday of the platinum version of the Philharmonic coin, we thought to add it to our bullion coin profile of this series but hit upon a couple of snags. Firstly, our guide included only the silver coin, our plans for a gold guide not yet born to fruition. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, our guide sucked; big time. Done in the very early days of the site before we even went live in September 2013, it hasn’t aged well.

Because of this we’ve completely rewritten it to include all three metals, every image has been replaced, the mintage table has been replaced by interactive charts accurate until the end of 2014 (2015 figures yet to be confirmed), and we hope the information is more up to date.
