CIT@TICC: Minigold range grows with new issues for the wider collector market
The just passed Tokyo International Coin Convention (TICC), saw CIT Coin Invest issue another in their comprehensive range of half-gram minigold coins and this is one of several that has been added since the turn of the year.
There are two main types. Traditional coins are round and tend to be inspired by bigger and more impressive silver issues. The lunar further down is a prime example, as are those in the Revolutionaries range, and even their super popular Wildlife Protection series.
The second, and more imaginative series, are those that have non-traditional shapes. CIT have been issuing these for years now, and the introduction of their gold version of smartminting (BGM) has seen detail levels rise to levels not easily achieved previously. The latest four are shown below, but there are dozens on offer. Not for the classic numismatist, certainly not for the stacker, these are aimed firmly at the gift market and we can imagine these turning up in items of jewellery for the kids, for example. The sheer variety on offer indicates these are popular enough. All are available to order now.
