CIT @ TICC: Skyline Dollars are back with Paris and San Francisco showcased

One of the very first of the new precious metal coin note series to be released, Skyline Dollars by Coin Invest Trust (CIT) are 150 x 70 mm silver coins just 0.045 mm thick that depict the skylines of some of the worlds most important cities. Chosen more for their impressive skylines rather than for being a capital city, eight were issued in 2017 and these two are the first to be issued in 2018.

Coming in at five grams of fine silver and with colouring on the reverse face, these are attractive coin notes and with a mintage of just 5,000 pieces, considerably rarer than the NZ Mint various popular culture ranges. Paris and San Francisco are the two subjects this time with the Eiffel Tower and the Golden Gate Bridge chosen to take centre stage in each case.

Issued for the Cook Islands, the common obverse remains from last year. Each coin is lamintated for protection. We have a full coin series profile to the range and you can see all ten of the issues to date there. Available for pre order this week, with several of our sponsors stocking them.
